cSingle point of Visibility, Access and Connectivity for one to thirty-two Serial devices and up to 255 IP Network Elements.
Serial access is provided with a physical connection between an SA-8000 Serial Access Gateway and the network element. IP access is through a browser window that allows registering IP enabled network elements and provides a connection button. A separate Ethernet hub or switch will be required to provide physical connectivity to the Ethernet devices.
